On February 20, 2026, the Hamilton Southeastern Education Foundation (HSEF) brought together educators, administrators, community supporters, and music fans for its second annual Legacy Celebration at the Fishers Event Center in Fishers, Indiana. The festive evening kicked off on the arena floor with a ticketed program uniting HSEF sponsors, district and school administrators, and PTO representatives and teachers from all 22 Hamilton Southeastern Schools, shining a spotlight on the Foundation's nonprofit mission to empower students and educators through teacher scholarships and student grants.
Former Miss America, Fishers resident, and HSE parent Katie Stam Irk served as emcee, guiding guests through an engaging program that featured the important work of the Foundation, a live auction and an on-site fund-a-need campaign - giving attendees a meaningful opportunity to directly invest in the future of HSE students and teachers. Once the program concluded, the energy in the arena grew as the door opened up to concertgoers ready to enjoy a spectacular night of live music, with iconic rock acts The Gin Blossoms and Blues Traveler taking the stage and capping off a truly memorable evening of community, generosity, and great music.

Since 2001, the Hamilton Southeastern Education Foundation (HSEF) has been raising funds for our mission to enhance educational opportunities, inspire excellence, and engage the community to foster a legacy of achievement. Through our collective efforts we have raised millions of dollars to support all students and staff across our school district, which is now the 4th largest in the state of Indiana with more than 21,000 students and over 2,000 staff members. We are the official philanthropic partner of our local schools, as a registered 501(c)3 nonprofit. It is that legacy that we celebrated on February 21, 2025 as a part of our first annual Legacy Celebration event, where funds were raised to support our core programs including teacher innovation grants, student scholarships, and other district initiatives.
